  GUEST SPEAKER – TOM LANCASTER  

  

  We are delighted to welcome Tom Lancaster, General Manager of CMHC-Granville Island, as our guest speaker.

  Tom brings more than 20 years of experience in planning, consulting, and advisory roles, working locally, across Canada, and internationally. His work has involved First Nations communities, local, regional and provincial governments, developers, and non-profit organizations.

  Before embarking on his career in planning, Tom worked internationally in community-based ecosystem renewal, where his passion for improving local environments first took root.

  Prior to joining Granville Island, Tom served as Manager of Community Planning for the District of North Vancouver. He previously held positions as Manager of Regional Planning and Data Analytics for Metro Vancouver and Deputy Director of Development Services on the Sunshine Coast, while also maintaining a consultancy supporting non-profit organizations in developing affordable housing.

  Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia.

  This month's meeting will be hosted by Ninna Jessen (Treasurer) and Alexandra Gerson (Vice President), as Glenda Cutinha will be attending the International Association of Tour Directors and Guides (IATDG) Conference in Las Vegas.

  We hope you can join us for what promises to be an enjoyable and informative evening. Whether you have news to share, questions to ask, or simply want to catch up with familiar faces, we'd love to see you there!

  Every CTGA member is allowed to bring 1 guest.

  Please note, if you do not have your physical card, in the WA Members app, there is a digital version of your ID card available for you to use.\

  The CTGA of BC has pre-purchased a table of 10 (without wine pairing) at a total cost of $160.00 per ticket. This is the all-in price.

  Please note that drinks are the responsibility of each individual to purchase at the event.

  Our table is reserved exclusively for CTGA of BC Members.

  To secure your seat, please e-transfer $160.00 to:  treasurer@ctgaofbc.com

  As with last year, credit cards will not be accepted to avoid transaction fees. We are only recouping the cost of the tickets. We will then submit the names of those attending (on your behalf)  per their request. This is non-refundable. If you must cancel, you will be responsible to find a replacement guest to cover the fee.

  If you are unable to e-transfer, you may request to be placed on the waiting list. If seats remain available, payment may be made in person or at the next meeting.
