Looking To Hire A Guide?
If you are looking to hire a Tour Guide or Tour Director, please do the following to reach our 150 Members: (We also have 'Meet & Greeters' as well as some driver-guides [for local and long-distance work]). Send an e-mail to jeffv@ctgaofbc.com which we will forward to our new Members Only Job Postings section. E-Mail Note: Due to the high volume of 'junk mail' or 'spam,' sometimes a true e-mail will not make it to our Inbox; if you have not had a reply from us within three or four days, please either re-send it or leave us a voice mail with your name and number at 604-876-2576 (10 am to 8 pm Pacific Time). Also, make sure your e-mail's subject line mentions this website, a job offer, or a guiding or tourism related topic. Your message should contain as much information as possible about the position and dates that you are trying to fill. Be sure to leave your phone number and/or an e-mail address with a contact name. Please allow a few days for all of our members to have a chance to check for messages. The more lead time you can provide for your notice the better. Our Members Only section has brought our members to a closer point of contact with each other, especially during the busy season when we can't hold meetings or events, but we can still get to a computer or telephone to check for messages. All of our Members speak English, plus many speak a multitude of languages from around the world including Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Malay, Portuguese, Spanish and Swiss.
