+Here is the information about The Annual Capilano Suspension Bridge Tourist Guide Appreciation Day....Wednesday April 17th....8 AM to 10 AM....Please RSVP to them ASAP....

"Dear CTGA of BC Members....

It's our favourite time of the year -- when we at the Capilano Suspension Bridge & Park get to pamper the tourist guides, drivers and tour directors who bring thousands of visitors to our attraction every year.

Please post the following details....about our "Sunny Start To The Season" event....

We will be happy to take RSVP's by phone to Lynn at 604-985-7474 or by e-mail to groups@capbridge.com.

We look forward to the fantastic results that working together this season will bring. Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is anything you need.

Warmest regards,
Capilano Suspension Bridge & Park."

The Capilano gang will be serving a special flapjack flipping, bacon grilling and other tasty treats breakfast....with a smile ! ! !

RSVP to Lynn right away please (on or before April 10th) at 604-985-7474....

Reminder: This is not just for CTGA members....it is open to anyone who is a guide, etc....please invite other guides that you know as well....

+The CTGA of BC is also planning a Fam Trip to Canada Place to tour the new Cruise Ship facilities which have just been completed a year ahead of schedule.

We might also be visiting our friends at the CN IMAX Theatre at the same time.

Unfortunately we do not yet have a firm date from them either of them, although there is a good chance that it will also happen on April 17th from 11 AM on, and so we would encourage you to get in contact with us.

+It may be possible to also put on a Vancouver City Tour Slide Show at either the end of April or in early May.

+Other upcoming CTGA of BC events are now in the planning stages for May and June and again we would ask you to either check back to this page, or to contact us at either 604-876-2576 or by e-mail to jeffvanc@axion.net.

+The first end of the season regular members meeting will be held on Thursday night October 24th, 2002 at 6:45 PM at a location in Vancouver to be announced in either September or early October. We will be having a guest speaker come to address us from Tourism Vancouver.

+The CTGA of BC Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday evening November 21st, 2002 at 6:45 PM at a location in Vancouver to be announced in October.

+We can now tell you the date of the next CTGA of BC Christmas Party .  It will be on Monday night December 9th, 2002 .  The details are still being worked out and we will let you know more in the fall.  But at least now you know the date and time.

+We wish all members and indeed guides everywhere a safe and prosperous season ! ! !

Thank you for your interest in the Canadian Tourist Guide Association of British Columbia. We hope to see you at one of our future meetings or to hear from you again...soon ! ! !
