The
CTGA of BC is a registered non-profit organization run by volunteers
which invites guides to attend functions, meet fellow guides, learn
more about Vancouver and all of British Columbia, and to contribute
to the future of tour leadership in Western Canada. The association
was formed during the spring of 1989, and the first meeting was held
on October 2nd, 1989. We are a registered association under the B.C.
Society Act.
The CTGA of BC is run by an elected Board of Directors. They consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Directors who chair various committees.
If you're an active tour guide, or work in the tourism profession, and you like meeting others while keeping up-to-date, why not join us? Teachers, lawyers, doctors, pilots and other professionals go to seminars all the time in order to stay on top, but do they have as much fun as we do? WE THINK NOT!!! We welcome all potential new members to two meetings to look us over at no obligation. After that, we would encourage you to join the association. Do You Live Outside
of the Vancouver Area? |
